Our practice focuses on preventative care, chronic disease management, and acute medical treatment for patients of all ages.

Hugo López, DNP, APRN, FNP-C
Clinic Founder & Primary Care Provider
Dr. Hugo López, APRN, FNP-C, brings exceptional medical expertise as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with specialized training in primary care, emergency medicine, and cardiovascular health. After earning his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, he has dedicated his practice to delivering personalized, comprehensive healthcare for patients at every stage of life.
Before founding Hugo López & Associates Primary Care in 2021, Hugo López served as a Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner at the prestigious CHRISTUS Spohn Health System. His unique clinical background includes life-saving experience as a Flight Nurse/Paramedic with HALO-Flight Air Ambulance and specialized training as a Critical Care RN.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. López creates a welcoming environment where communication barriers never compromise quality care for our diverse Corpus Christi community.

As Clinic Director, Kara López oversees the daily operations of our practice, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of patient care and service. She ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations. With her leadership, our practice continues to grow while maintaining our commitment to excellence.
Clinic Manager
Erika Treviño, NRCMA
With over 15 years of healthcare experience, Erika Trevino serves as the Clinic Manager at Hugo López & Associates. As a Nationally Registered Medical Assistant certified in nutrition counseling and health maintenance, she manages daily operations, staff supervision, scheduling, and regulatory compliance.

Symantha provides clinical support to our providers and assists with patient care procedures. She also processes all prior authorizations.
